Hello my name is Willow! Im an artist and storyteller building my own original world that resides in the dream realm ‘Asiling’.

My artworks explore the creatures that live in this realm and its peculiar environment. It also includes a nightmare realm, and breaks the fourth wall by directly involving my audience .

This is achieved through relatability, as my project deeply references the common experience of dreaming, as well as the different types of dreaming phenomenons. Including sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, and ‘meaningful/symbolic’ dreams. Through my main character ‘the wisp’, the audience is lead into making multiple decisions which inherently moulds their time here in Aisling.

Through the form of letters addressed directly to the customer, my audience is able to bridge the barrier between storytelling and involvement. They can receive letters from multiple characters, or letters from the the world itself. Each letter contains further lore in a conversational tone, which in turn builds a personal relationship between audience and art.
